Since 2000, we have worked closely with several Framework Partners on a wide range of Extra High Voltage (EHV) and Rail Projects.
With a full suite of skill sets across our departments, we have contributed to the delivery of numerous prestigious projects across the Utilities Infrastructure Sector.

Health and Safety
If it’s not safe, then we don’t do it! It is that simple.
We place the highest priority on the provision of working environments that are safe and risk-free to all our Employees, Contractors, Clients and members of the public.
We carry out regular site audits to ensure that all our sites remain compliant with current legislative requirements and to assist our Clients in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
We investigate all accidents and incidents and introduce corrective actions, where necessary, to prevent recurrence. All employees are actively encouraged to report “near misses” and we learn the most from our own people on the ground.
Partnerships
We know that it is our Client’s requirement that Greenway provide a high level of service as a minimum. In order to guarantee that our pledges become a reality, we actively look to communicate with our Clients and measure our performance through the setting of targets and on-going reviews.
A vital component of our quality management procedure is to record attendances on all of our sites, with our key performance indicator being the continuity of our employees.
Vetting Procedure
Greenway maintain a rigorous selection process to make certain that our Operatives have been fully vetted and have the right to work in the UK.
We initially interview candidates over the phone, establishing identity and ensuring that all their paperwork is in order. We interview 100% of new starters in person and original documentation must be produced.
Greenway comply with UK Borders Agency guidelines, as per February 2008, with regards to the prevention of illegal workers.
Training and Development
Training improves workers performance, increases workforce retention and hugely contributes to Health and Safety.
Training is a key issue In establishing a flexible multi-skilled workforce that is able to adapt to the ever-changing requirements of a project.
The training needs of our operatives are reviewed constantly and everyone is encouraged to progress within the Company. Our Operatives all hold the relevant certification for the tasks for which they are employed and any additional training needs are identified and delivered using approved registered training providers.

Our risk management process also considers environmental risks on a site-by-site basis. We communicate our performance in this area in a transparent way.
We also seek to make a positive social contribution through the
services we provide to our clients and our clients’ customers, particularly in our public service contracts.
